Cookie Dough Cookies

Why is cookie dough so good? I don't know but I like it. Yeah, a lot.

Come on, make these. You know you want to.

Easy-Peezy Chocolate Chip Cookies
(lovingly borrowed from Like Mother, Like Daughters)

What you'll need:
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar

  • 3/4 cup sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

  • 12 oz. semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 ¼ cups all purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp salt
Directions:
(I made 1/2 the recipe and got 18 cutie cookies out of it)
  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Melt butter in a microwave safe container. While the butter cools, combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl.
  2. Combine butter with remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Be careful not to overmix the wet ingredients! They should be just combined.
  3. Stir the chocolate chips into your wet ingredients.
  4. Dump dry ingredients into wet ingredients and mix with a wooden spoon. Do not overmix! Again, ingredients should be just blended.
  5. Using your hands, make roughly 1.5-inch balls of dough, and drop them on the cookie sheet.
  6. Cook for 10-12 minutes. After removing from oven, allow to cool for 1-2 minutes, and then move to a cooling rack.
I can be kinda artsy too

Happy Baking!
